The Journal of Ongoing Educational Research (JOER) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journaldedicated to advancing knowledge in education and related fields. All research published in JOER is freely accessible online, allowing educators, learners, and professionals worldwide to benefit from the latest findings in teaching, learning, training delivery, and educational management.
Readers may read, download, copy, share, print, search, or link to full texts without prior permission from the editor or authors, as long as the use is legal.
JOER adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Articles must follow the IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).
Authors should request the official template via joerpub@gmail.com.
Figures must be uploaded separately (JPG, PNG, TIF) with proper captions; tables must be prepared in the system or copied directly from MS Word.
References must follow APA 7th edition and can be added manually, via Google Scholar export, or through online reference tools.
Authors prepare manuscripts using the JOER system or official template.
Submissions are screened for plagiarism, formatting, and grammar.
The editor evaluates scope and suitability; unsuitable manuscripts are declined immediately.
Each paper is sent to two independent peer reviewers (double-blind). A third reviewer may be consulted if necessary.
At least two reviewers must recommend acceptance for the article to be published.
Accepted papers undergo galley proofing before final publication.
Once finalized, the article is immediately published online with a DOI for global discoverability.
Authors must ensure their work is original, accurate, and properly cited.
Submissions must not be under consideration elsewhere.
Errors discovered after submission or publication must be reported promptly.
All authors listed must have made a significant contribution to the work and approve the final version.
Conflicts of interest and funding sources must be disclosed.
Authorship is limited to individuals who contributed significantly to the conception, execution, or analysis of the study.
All co-authors must approve the final manuscript.
Requests to add or remove authors after submission require the editor’s approval and consent from all authors.
No submission charges.
Only accepted articles are subject to a 50 USD publication fee.
All publications are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial (CC BY-NC), giving authors full copyright while allowing JOER to disseminate the work.
